Summary Job Statement

Implements and manages United’s recruiting programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures staffing processes align with current and future workforce needs. Develops sources for qualified applicants by performing the following duties:



  • Partners with hiring managers on all job postings. Utilizes Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for hiring process. Responsible for ensuring UNITED hiring process is in place and ensures accuracy in ATS regarding candidate records.
  • Maintaining accurate documents and processing on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, and announcements is crucial
  • Abides by all employment laws during hiring process. Responsible for conducting phone interviews for qualified candidates and open positions. Generates background, motor vehicle report, and E-Verify screens. Compiles HR Review Templates for all applicants by open position
  • Schedules and conducts new hire orientation and educates newly hired employees on United’s culture, brand, and policies. Prepares and administers New Hire Paperwork. Distributes the post-hire medical history questionnaire. Ensures I-9 compliance within the first 3 days of employment.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants via face-to-face meetings. Manage on campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs. Spends a minimum of 4 days/quarter to develop institutional relationships.
  • Processes position requisition forms and collaborates with hiring manager and Employee Relations Manger on incremental positions and appropriate job files. Responsible for partnering with ATS Dispatcher to ensure all necessary documents for position posted are submitted in a timely fashion
  • Schedules pre-employment drug screen and physical (if applicable) and communicates results and start date to hiring manager
  • Partners with Employee Relations Manager and hiring manager to determine effective recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates
  • Creates new requisition folders to include Data Requisition Form, Job Description, and all phone screen notes and all face to face interview notes
  • Assists and supports general employee questions
  • Travels to all locations within the Division
  • Other HR duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with CCBCU Fleet Policy
  • SAP and Applicant Tracking System experience preferred
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the Division
  • Additional duties as assigned.
