<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Merchandiser - Sales Large Store Relief position is responsible for maintaining a professional rapport, face to face selling, merchandising, and executing assigned duties. This position is responsible for maintaining specific activity within assigned accounts in a geographic area as a back-up assistant to the Merchandiser - Sales Large Store.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Relieve Merchandiser routes.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensure proper care of equipment, and Company/customer assets daily.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Rotate and replenish products in customer outlet, including displays, racks, and all Coca-Cola and brand partner equipment.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintain product integrity in every account; neatly stacked, condensed, and rotated backstock, clean coolers and racks to Company standards.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Organization and collection of any breakage or out of date product, including empty shells and pallets.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they arise.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Works in partnership with the Sales Supervisor and Delivery Driver for outlet to execute the picture of success.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Establish and maintain positive relationships with all customers, as well as providing superior customer service.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to work with all functional team members.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Sell and execute at customer relations, training and development while maintaining a professional rapport with store management.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Coordinate and Execute day to day selling and merchandising to company standards
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Communicate opportunities to appropriate team members.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
  • Reliable vehicle required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets.
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, exposure to weather, and noise.
  • Ability to work a flexible or rotating schedule.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to respond and resolve to any customer issues.
  • Ability to self-motivate and ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Previous Merchandising experience preferred.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and exposure to weather and noise
