<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Summary Job Statement

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Recruiter 1 is responsible for implementing and managing UNITED’s recruiting programs, policies and procedures. Ensures staffing process aligns with current and future workforce needs and maintains all regulatory compliance. Responsible for creation of diverse sources for qualified applicant flow.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Partners with hiring managers on all job openings taking into account budgeting headcount and vacancy priority
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Utilizes Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for hiring process. Responsible for ensuring UNITED hiring process is in place and all hiring practices are in accordance with federal and local laws
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for accurate maintenance of recruitment documents and activities including but not limited to requisition data forms, requisition folders, interview notes and input of appropriate disqualification codes
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for partnering with Hiring Manager/local Human Resources Team/Talent Acquisition team to determine effective recruiting strategies for attracting qualified diverse candidates by position/location.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for complete life cycle of recruitment:
    • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Determining qualification for applicants to be considered candidates
    • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Conducting phone screens
    • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Preparing Human Resources Review templates for internal candidates
    • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Presenting top-notch candidates to the Hiring Manager for review
    • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Creating selected candidate offers
    • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Initiating all pre-employment screens as need by position and ensuring results comply with Company standards
    • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Communicate and coordinate candidate start date and information regarding new hire orientation
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develops and maintains strong relationships with local educational institutions, community outreach with vocation schools and partnerships with state/local labor departments
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for UNITED job fairs, career events and for public speaking engagements related to employment with our Company and in accordance with our look of success

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum age 18 years old
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance wit UNITED fleet policy
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to read, write and speak English
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor's degree/ Bachelor’s Arts from four-year College or university; or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to travel to all locations within Division to support Hiring Managers with recruitment process as needed
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">CPLP Certification preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Strong interpersonal relationship skills; written and verbal communication skills; organization, planning and an attention to detail
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups of candidates, employees, community/educational partners and key stakeholders
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Repeated sitting, typing, and keying
