Summary Job Statement

This position will require an experienced Demand Planning leader who is able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding growth environment, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and leadership skills. This role will lead the development and execution of the demand planning forecast process within the business’s ERP system. The Demand Manager creates and maintains forecast statistical models for their customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from Sales, Marketing, Commercialization, Lifecycle, PSS, and other groups within the organization. The position then leads cross-functional collaboration meetings with Sales to deliver an accurate Consensus Demand Plan on a weekly basis. The position will prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and guide final decision making on any open items that need closure as well as prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate. The Demand Manager will analyze supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain. This is a key leadership position, reporting directly to the Sales & Operations Planning Process Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and leverage the Demand Planning system and routines as essential resources to create and review statistical forecasts by gathering, analyzing, and validating data. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Taking ownership of Bottler to Bottler statistical forecasts
  • Lead the development and execution of the Region S&OP Forecast Process in SAP APO including the ownership of training and development within the tool
  • Lead regional cross-functional collaboration meetings with Sales, Marketing, Commercialization, Lifecycle, and PSS to facilitate an accurate Consensus Demand Plan on a weekly basis
  • Prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and guide final decision making on any open items that need closure as well as prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate
  • Collaborate with Lifecycle Team to develop Commercial Leadership communications regarding innovation delays, staggered launches, and potential product availability issues or allocations
  • Analyze supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain

 

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be in compliance with CCBCU’s fleet policy
  • Computer Modeling: Knowledge of statistical and mathematical computer programs and modeling techniques. Ability to analyze large amounts of data for developing projections and estimates.
  • Forecasting: Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and inputs (e.g., business trends, seasonality, consumption patterns).
  • Software Applications: Strong working knowledge of integrated Supply Chain Planning systems and tools. Knowledge and experience in the following systems is most preferred: JDA, SAP, and LLamasoft. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
