<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Supervisor- Warehouse Distribution is responsible for leading the shift in areas of shipping, loading, receiving, warehouse storage, product rotation, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable laws
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Interview, hire, and train associates
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Plan, assign, and direct work
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Appraise performance
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Address complaints and resolve problems
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Builds positive associate morale
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Coordinates all shipping/receiving along with transportation
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Oversees all inventory control and product rotation
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manage Shipping/Receiving Department, Inventory, Repack, Gate, or Night Loading
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintains responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the units listed above
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Accurately approve and maintain employee time approval
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manage employee scheduling such as vacation, sick, and requested time off
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Train employees on OSHA monthly trainings


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum age 18 years old
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to read, write and speak English
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 12 months to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to become certified in forklift, riding pallet jack, and motorized vehicles
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Frequent standing and walking
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to work in a team environment, resolve conflicts, possess effective communication skills, i.e. verbal, reading and writing, as well as calculate figures and percentages.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to work safely and securely
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to demonstrate leadership, planning, and organizational skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
